(This is a very old law. People used do this to steal horses. The ice cream could be used to lure a horse away, and if the person was caught they would use the excuse, "I didn't steal it - he followed me home!")
The word "queue" is the only word in the English language that is still pronounced the same way when the last four letters are removed.
